Developed centuries ago to entertain imperial envoys from China and Japan, Ryukyu palace cuisine (Utonmochi) represents the pinnacle of Okinawan gastronomy. In this private masterclass held inside the sea-breezed Yugafu Kitchen, guests harvest seasonal herbs and vegetables directly from on-site gardens before learning the painstaking preparation techniques behind court delicacies. The experience concludes with a multi-course royal feast presented on traditional crimson Ryukyu lacquerware (Tundaabun).
